Yep, I recommend this program

I can't even title this but: Astonishing.

Like pretty much everyone else, I really don't know how to start, because this has been i of the most amazing experiences always. So I'll just get alee and dissever it.

Personal aspects: I'm from the Dominican Republic, and then in Higher y'all don't usually motion from your parents identify. ( For an independence reference ). It was my first time moving to a dissimilar land, adapting to a new culture, managing my own budget and technically living by myself, I say technically because along the way you meet amazing people that are going through the same thing and create friends for a lifetime from a lot of unlike cultures. For me it was very easy to adapt, and Madrid is seriously one of the about "Livable" cities in the world in my opinion.

Fun, Travel, Going out: Whether you're there for half dozen weeks or 6 months I'thou sure you'll have the all-time time of your life, Traveling to other countries can get as cheap every bit €l and to other cities in Spain for as low every bit €10. Madrid's nightlife is total of everything, from vii floor clubs to tiny amazing tapas bars. Strolling through El Retiro Park, Shopping (Or window shopping) effectually Sol, Gran vía or Serrano were some of my favorite things to do.

Program Staff and Interviews: Since 24-hour interval 1, The intern Group was very responsible, committed to deadlines and always in contact with me. In one case I was accepted Lalita got in touch and everything flowed accordingly. If you brand your part as you should, they will too. Everything that was said to be offered by the program was washed as promised and 24/7 contact was bachelor no matter what,

Activities: Irene is the most charming person you'll meet in Spain, I swear! She fabricated the near of the included activities and was super able to adapt everyone'south schedule. (By at present you lot should be able to tell how picky I am)

Workplace: My Internship placement was amazing from the interview to the moment I left, I was very involved in the activities in my function and was able to produce content that has been published past the brands I was involved with. I learned and then much well-nigh myself in the professional aspect and opened my eyes to a whole new world of the Makerting & PR areas that I hadn't had experience in. The work schedule in Madrid is always amazing, no matter what visitor y'all're working for, so don't be scared. I was just interviewed by this visitor, because from the moment I had my interview I was very pleased with their philosophy and piece of work.

Housing: Only four days before my arrival I wasn't in full agreement with the conditions and Lalita and Irene managed to rearrange everything to see my expectations, and I have to say they were surpassed. The apartment was big, in an amazing surface area and Information technology had all nosotros needed. I got to visit some of the other apartments where the interns normally stay and they were great too! (Seriously, Imagine living right at Puerta del Sol, astonishing.)

Others: I would really recommend going in Spring or Fall considering information technology'southward the best conditions, Summers are VERY hot and winters go REALLY common cold.

In full general, I wouldn't recommend this program to someone who just wants to arctic and party. The Intern Group provides you with high quality easily on internships that will assist you grow professionally and personally in many aspects. For me a Latin American recent Uni Graduate, it was the best pick I fabricated, and would exercise it a million times more. (If growing up was a choice, and I wouldn't demand to go back to real life)

Talking nigh growing upwards, lets talk about life Later the internship:
I've been home for three weeks at present and job offers have been style easier for me to find and get, I've had options to choose from, and my internship is always a highlight in my resumé.

I hope the choice yous make changes your life and perspective every bit much as it did to me! International feel in 2018 is something super valued and opening your mind and soul to these things will sure be memories to tell for a lifetime.

What would you ameliorate near this plan?

Nothing really, maybe during the interview process to be asked some more specific questions near cultural beliefs or requirements. But similar I mentioned earlier, there was nothing that was unsolved for me.

I take made some amazing memories and I take adult enormously, both professionally and personally. I have caused lots of new skills and valuable knowledge within my field of work and I am so excited for the future and to see where this internship will lead me. I experience a lot more independent, confident and self-assured and I have met so many wonderful new friends who I programme to stay in contact with. The Intern Grouping were so friendly, warm and welcoming and were extremely helpful and on-hand when I needed communication and help. Information technology was a very well-organised trip and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who would like to expand their horizons and experience an unforgettable internship!

When can I come dorsum!?

Iii months ago today I was boarding a plane in Australia bound for Madrid. Little did I know the take a chance that awaited me!

Coming into this programme I was not entirely sure what to wait, I was really hoping just to gain some work place experience and learn a bit more than about Spain and Madrid and what they had to offering in terms of civilization, lifestyle and of course, food!

I did non think I would find myself at habitation here in Madrid and then quickly. However, information technology did have me a couple of weeks to become used to the idea that I was in a completely new country and getting sick just after my outset calendar week at work did not make the transition any smoother. The Intern Group helped guide my through this crude patch, equally I knew that if I needed annihilation I could just transport a message and I could expect a response presently after. Which was very reassuring.

I actually take no idea how The Intern Group managed this, just the company I was placed with was absolutely perfect! I had excellent mentoring from non just my supervisor, but the entire company and I can say with confidence that I have definitely come up away with more experience and understanding of my field than I had expected.

Past being a function of this program y'all get the opportunity to meet similar-minded interns who share the aforementioned passions and interests equally you lot, such as traveling, shopping or finding the all-time tortilla in Madrid. You never know who you lot will run across and that's what I enjoyed the virtually about this experience. Not only take I been able to network with other interns, just also with students from my Spanish classes (which I have been taking during my time here) and colleagues at my work.

I am definitely lamentable to be leaving this identify then soon as there is nevertheless much more than I know Madrid and Spain can offering me! The question I am asking myself now is "When can I come back!"

What would you lot improve nearly this plan?

I thought the program was astonishing from beginning to stop -- No improvements necessary from my point of view.

Yeah, I recommend this program

Nothing's better than this!

Well, I don't know where to start with near all of my infrequent experience The Intern Group Madrid take given it to me in the past half-dozen months.
There are very few moments in the life when yous really grace something & crave to achieve information technology, and for me, information technology was always virtually interning abroad, getting to know the different civilisation and stand up out of my comfort zone. This was only & just made possible with the help of groovy squad of intern group Madrid, especially Lalita & Irene.
They are then much transparent about everything from the kickoff step of your interview with them till the finish you will end your internship. It was my first time moving out of my dwelling land, and it was very very scary to be honest for me. Just intern group, and the activities they organised, made me feel like being at home.
There was a time when I got sick in between of my internship and I was non sure what to do. But the information intern group gave us, most the doctors & hospitals, it made me go through the things so smoothly that if I would have to do it myself, it would be very hard going. Lalita, and not to forget Irene, they both were always there for any kind of trouble, assist, clarification yous need. They made my stay in Madrid so exceptional that it's actually hard to explain that in simply this review.
They picked the all-time visitor for me matching my skills set where I have been a perfect fit for every single tasks I've been assigned with. With the motivation, courage and never say never mindset of mine, I was able to convert my internship into a permanent chore role. It was very hard in the starting time only it become smoother and easier subsequently I start being a part of the company as a family instead of treating myself & behaving like an intern considering then & then I was able to understand much more well-nigh them, there work civilisation & there ethics in this current diverse era.
In that location are still so many great things happened in my life in past six months which will exist always my best, all time memorable memories. I made great fiends being hither, lived the different culture, talked with the people who speaks totally different language which I never studied or spoken in my life before. And all these things, all of these and much more than are the best part of my life.

And then in the finish, I would only like to thanks Intern grouping for my astonishing journey, for in that location extreme support in every single step I have to go through during this whole period of fourth dimension and thank you for calling Madrid as my 2nd home now.

As I said, at that place is nil all-time than this considering this is perfect opportunity I've got and intern group made it work for me with ease.

What would you improve about this program?

I actually can't think as of now near anything which needs to exist improved because my journey, my time hither, they have been perfect in every prospect.

Muy Bein

The past four months have been very captivating and has been a life irresolute experience which I will cherish for the remainder of my life. I would definitely recommend participating in this considering non merely will it help develop your life skills just also gain invaluable life lessons! Intern Group made the journey of a life time so much calmer! They were excellent at providing lots of back up and making certain you are gear up for the internship this made me experience relaxed. Lalita the Associate Managing director of Madrid was helpful to guide me throughout the procedure. They were always there to direct me to the next phase, and would always become dorsum to me via email!
It was my offset time doing something of this nature, and then naturally I was broken-hearted and worried. I didn't know what to look. I met amazing people at the intern group which I connected with, that fabricated my experience a lot better and will continue in contact with them, it's condom to say I accept made life long friends!
My outset calendar week I struggled with the surround because everything was out of my comfort zone. But after a few days, yous accommodate to the culture and the more places you visit the more y'all love the place. Irene is the event coordinator who plans weekly events this gave the opportunity to run into the other interns. The events were dissimilar, then I would recommend going to each result because they were fantastic and eye-opening!
So, my work had a friendly environment. They by and large spoke Spanish this left me alienated. This then motivated me to learn the language and what better place to larn it than Spain. I started understanding what they were proverb merely struggled speaking it. I volition bear on learning the language when I go back to the U.k..
I didn't have a program how much I was going to spend and so the first month I restricted myself from overspending, which subsequently gave the opportunity to travel around Espana; to places like Granada and Sevilla. I would recommend travelling outside of Madrid to see how different each part of the city is. It was scenic and honestly left me in awe. It was very emotional leaving the place not knowing when I'll come dorsum. Information technology has left a strong sense of nostalgia.

What would you improve about this program?

Perchance doing some sport activities.

Yes, I recommend this programme

Looking dorsum on my Madrid Journey!

When I got accustomed into the programme for an internship in Madrid I was very apprehensive about what would exist in store. Throughout the process, the Intern Group sent videos, lots of emails keeping me updated and information sheets. It helped me feel at ease not having to worry about housing, transport and the culture shock.

I only really spoke with Lalita the Associate Director and Irene the Events Coordinator. All the cultural events organised by Irene, and included in your fee, were amazing. It helps provide a support network and I have made such swell friends and mixed with people from other cultures.

We had a few issues with housing at the beginning only this was the merely issue I had. We had many emails with Lalita and all of the Intern Group Madrid to go everything sorted for us. At all times, even the weekends, they were responsive and supportive. Together a solution was found and I felt that their attitude was i of genuine business concern!

The Intern Group: Madrid - Review

My time in Madrid with the Intern Group was a dream!

Really what makes the experience that much better is the quality of people that you meet hither. You see people from all effectually the globe, and these people get your friends because at the beginning, there is nobody else that y'all tin chronicle to because you don't know everyone else! Whether information technology's getting churros at the oldest churro place in Madrid late at night or travelling to other Spanish cities like Salamanca together, the people is what makes this an experience of a lifetime. Kudos to the Intern Group for choosing and selecting great people; information technology makes your feel that much better.

The Intern Grouping is besides fantastic at ensuring there are events for y'all attend during the work, and everyone on staff is so easy to go along with. Importantly, if there is always an issue, they respond promptly and fix the effect as soon as possible, which is a wonderful matter to accept when living in a strange environs.

What would you better near this program?

If possible, providing more scholarship or fiscal aid the enable participants to come who may not have the necessary funds to come on their ain. The program is quite expensive and while that isn't an obstacle for a lot of the program participants, it was for me, and required a lot of fundraising and working about fifty hours a week. So if it was possible to provide more of that for those in financial need, that would exist fantastic.

The all-time learning challenge for your career and life!

Acquiring an internship through The Intern Group (Madrid) only saw amazing rewards and benefits for myself. Every bit a Media Graduate, I was able to learn and enhance various skills within my taught discipline, every bit well as other areas I was interested in. As a young adolescent, the international internship taught me greatly how to accommodate to a completely different, rich culture and successfully live independently.

I was a Content Marketing Intern at a Political Communications start-up.
I had set responsibilities, but was also requite much freedom to learn most the sides of the business I wanted to work in too. This company helped me greatly in analysing and learning about the technical sides of Social Media and Content Marketing, equally well as using CMS and Company Exclusive Software. A lot of these skills I had developed at this outset-up helped me in standing out at job interviews recently.

Bated from interning all-twenty-four hours, The Intern Grouping schedules fun social events for all interns in the urban center. In Madrid, it was ever a good fourth dimension communicable up with the other interns at tapas nights, walks around the city... so even scheduling our own events by ourselves! Everyone whom I have met in The Intern Group have been awesome characters that have added to my feel in Madrid.

When information technology came to accommodation and living there, Intern Madrid took care of me very well, and gave instructions and info virtually every attribute of living in Madrid. They provided me with ten/10 accommodation and answered to any queries or complaints I had right away. They brand sure to be contactable easily, and knowing they were just a call or message away made me at ease all the fourth dimension.

In short, you wouldn't be wise to reject an international internship, specially one with The Intern Group. You have just to proceeds from these kinds of experiences, and I promise you cull to experience it through The Intern Group!

What would you lot better about this plan?

Growing the Intern Group to more cities around the world!
